We have an exciting final week at SPS. We look forward to welcoming whānau to the final Year 8 Leavers Assembly on Thursday 12 December in the school hall. Parents are encouraged to arrive by 12.45pm as seating will be limited. The assembly will start at 1pm.
On Friday, we will hold our final fun assembly at 11am. All whānau are welcome to attend. School will then finish on Friday at 12pm.
Whānau please remember to check out the lost property before the end of the school year.
The first school day of 2025 is Monday 27 January. This will be our Connection Hui where whānau and tamariki meet with the teacher. Whānau can start booking a time now. Information has been sent out in the School App. In addition to this, Permission forms for 2025 are now on the School App, take a moment to read through them. When you have read them, please complete the Overall Agreement Form, which covers all three agreements. You will need to compete one for each child, should you have any difficulty, come into the office and we can help you. Parents who complete this before next Friday will go in the draw to win a one hour massage courtesy of Jo’s Massage Haven.
Whānau Day for 2025: Wednesday 5 February 2025
We need lots of helpers for the hangi. Please contact Whaea Sheenagh if you are able to assist with the hangi. Ph: 027 204 8900
Meat Donations: We are asking for meat donations. Please contact Whaea Sheenagh if you are able to donate any meat for the hangi. Meat can be stored at school in the school freezers.

# Tuesday 10 December: Yr 5-6 Celebration Day; Yr 7-8 Big Day Out.
# Wednesday 11 December: Ākonga Council Lunch
# Thursday 12 December: Yr 8 Leavers Assembly from 1pm (Please arrive by 12.45pm).
# Friday 13 December: Assembly at 11am (All whānau are welcome to attend); School finishes at 12pm.
