Kia ora whānau

Welcome back to another exciting term at Stratford Primary School.

School starts on Monday at 8.45am. We are now in the Winter Term (Term 2 and Term 3).
Remember, we are in the Winter Term so school will finish at 2.35pm for all of Term 2 and Term 3.

Welcome to all new whānau:
On Monday, we will welcome all new whānau with a Pōwhiri in the school hall. This will be at 10am in the school hall. Whānau are welcome to stay in class with their tamariki before meeting outside the hall entrance with Mr Elder.

Late Bus Reminder: To support whānau with the earlier finish we offer a ‘Late Bus Class’. This is for whānau who cannot collect their tamariki at 2.35pm due to work commitments. Whaea Aimee (Room 19) will supervise tamariki who are registered for the ‘Late Bus Class’. Tamariki must be registered through the School Office to attend the Late Bus Class.

Week 1, Term 2: Monday 28 April to Friday 2 May
# Monday 28 April: Pōwhiri for new whānau at 10am in the School Hall; Winter Term – School finishes at 2.35pm.
# Tuesday 29 April: Learning IEP Meetings.
# Wednesday 30 April: Ākonga Council Hui.
# Thursday 1 May: Kapa Haka; St John First Aid Courses.
# Friday 2 May: Assembly at 9.15am, all whānau are welcome to attend; Yr 5-6 Sports Trials (Rugby, Netball, Football); Yr 7-8 Basketball after school.
