Kia ora whānau
Wednesday was a special day as we celebrated Whānau Day. It was wonderful to connect with so many grandparents, aunties, uncles, parents and friends of Stratford Primary School. Special mention must go to Whaea Sheenagh, the Hangi crew, the parents who helped out in the kitchen, staff and our amazing tamariki who all helped to make this day a special event. Ki runga rawa tō mahi. Look out for next week’s newsletter, which will have photos of the day.
School Lunches:
Lunches will start on Monday 10 February 2025, we hope that this will flow smoothly, however, please be patient should any issues arise. Please note, changes to the lunch ordering will now take two weeks to add new students onto the programme after the start date.
Music Lessons:
Is your child interested in learning the guitar or piano? Cost: $30 per week for 30 minutes or $20 for guitar groups of two. Where: At Stratford Primary School every Tuesday. To register your child’s interest please contact the office.
Week 3: Monday 10 February to Friday 14 February
# Monday 10 February: Year 7-8 Camp meeting for all parents volunteers who have been selected to attend. Time: 4.30pm. Where: Room 1.
# Tuesday 11 February: Anti-Vaping presentation for Year 7-8.
# Wednesday 12 February: Turnbull Cup swimming practice.
# Thursday 13 February:
# Friday 14 February: Assembly at 9.15am, all whānau are welcome to attend; Turnbull Cup swimming practice.
Term 1: Teachers Only Day
# Friday 7 March: School will be closed as the staff will be undertaking professional development with primary and secondary staff from the Stratford and Inglewood Kāhui Ako.
