Classroom Placements for 2026 closes on Friday 19 September 2025:
The process for organising classroom placements for ākonga in 2026, begins at the end of this term. If whānau have a specific reason they would like the Leadership Team to consider, send your email to the appropriate person. Please note, not all considerations of the child can be accommodated due to the complex nature of organising 17 classrooms. Whānau can send their email to:

Touch is back in Term 4:
This competition will be on a Tuesday night from 4.30-5pm (Year 2/3/4), 5-5.30pm (Year 5/6) and 5.30-6pm (Year 7/8). The competition will be played at S.P.S and begins on Tuesday 7th October and will run for 6 consecutive weeks. Subs for the competition are $10 per player and must be paid prior to the competition beginning. Please have the form completed and subs paid by Friday 19th September so we can sort teams. Please complete this one form below for your whole family.

Week 10, Term 3: Monday 15 to Friday 19 September
# Monday 15 September: Board Hui at 5pm in the Conference Room; Māori Language Week; Room 5 & 8 to Topec.
# Tuesday 16 September: Room 5 & 8 to Topec; Dog Safety – Junior School; Linkhorne Cup (Rugby) and Burkhart Cup (Netball) Finals for Year 7-8.
# Wednesday 17 September: Taranaki Cross Country; Room 1 Library Trip.
# Thursday 18 September: Kapa Haka; Room 6 & 7 to Topec.
# Friday 19 September: Assembly at 9.15am, all whānau are welcome to attend; Room 6 & 7 to Topec; Last day of Term 3 – school finishes at 2.35pm (End of the Winter Term).
Summer Term starts on Monday 6 October:
– School starts at 8.45am
– School finishes at 2.55pm
– Tamariki must bring a named hat and drink bottle from the start of the Term 4.

Monday 27 October – Labour Day (No School)
Thursday 11 December – Yr 8 Leavers Assembly
Friday 12 December – End of the School Year – school finishes at 12pm.

– Term 1: Monday 2 February to Thursday 2 April
– Term 2: Monday 20 April to Friday 3 July
– Term 3: Monday 20 July to Friday 25 September
– Term 4: Monday 12 October to Wednesday 16 December
Note: There are three Teachers Only Days
– Friday 6 March (Term 1): Mathematics Curriculum ToD (Monday 9 March is Taranaki Anniversary)
– Friday 29 May (Term 2): Mathematics Curriculum ToD (Monday 1 June is King’s Birthday)
– Monday 31 August (Term 3): Teachers Only Day (This is aligned with the Stratford High School ToD).
