Stratford Primary School:
Come and join our vibrant team. We are a large Full Primary School with a supportive staff. Our kura is a Green-Gold Enviro School and winner of the prestigious Blake Award for Environment Education. As a community, we celebrate diversity and value strong relationships with our ākonga and whānau.
Classroom teachers are provided a wide range of quality professional development and leadership opportunities. They are supported to be the best teacher they can be, both personally and professionally. We are part of Taranaki Mohoao, which further strengthens professional learning opportunities for our teachers.
The Board supports teachers who live in New Plymouth with use of the school van to reduce travel costs. Staff that use this option pay approximately $20 per week.
We are looking for someone who can positively compliment our school culture. If you are solution focused, have a great sense of humour and a positive outlook, we want to hear from you. Applicants should also share what unique skills and talents they can offer our ākonga.
