Stratford Primary School: Yr 7-8 Fixed Term Teacher
Come and join our vibrant team. We are a large Full Primary School with a supportive staff. Our kura is a Green-Gold Enviro School and winner of the prestigious Blake Award for Environment Education. As a community, we celebrate diversity and value strong relationships with our ākonga and whānau.
Classroom teachers are provided a wide range of quality professional development and leadership opportunities. They are supported to be the best teacher they can be, both personally and professionally. We are part of Taranaki Mohoao, which further strengthens professional learning opportunities for our teachers.
The Board supports teachers who live in New Plymouth with use of the school van to reduce travel costs. Staff that use this option pay approximately $20 per week.

Fixed Term Position:
Start Date: Sometime in Term 2.
End Date: Wednesday 16 December 2026.
Reason for Fixed Term Position: The reason for your employment being for a fixed term and not permanent is that you will be working within our new Year 7-8 Project. The details of this role will be explained on appointment.
