Our Goals for 2024

Stratford Primary School has a diverse range of ākonga. Tamariki come from all walks of life. For example, one in five ako had a learning Individual Education Plan (I.E.P) or were on the SENCO Roll.

As a school, we aim for all tamariki to leave our school ‘being the best they can be’ through the values they display, their positive attitude to learning and that they have the right tools to succeed in life.

Academically, we use our Curriculum Milestones as a benchmark to measure success. Our goal is that as many leavers are working within or exceeding the New Zealand Curriculum Milestone for their age, in reading, writing and mathematics, particularly as they leave for high school. We want to support them to keep making progress with their learning, while developing as an AIM High Learner.
