Wiki Tuatoru (Week 3), Term 3, 2026: Next week’s message from Jason Elder.

Friday 31 July 2026

Kia ora whānau

Thank you to the many whānau who attended yesterday’s Whakapiri Morning. It was wonderful to see so many grandparents join us despite the weather.

Our Book Fair had an outstanding day, with sales doubling from $3,000 to over $6,000 – ki runga rawa! Every dollar raised from the Book Fair goes directly towards purchasing new books for our school library, so thank you for your incredible support.

Yesterday also marked the first round of our parent-teacher interviews. Around 170 whānau met with their child’s classroom teacher to discuss their learning and progress. We have another round of interviews scheduled for next Thursday. If you have not yet booked a time, please do so online or contact your child’s classroom teacher to arrange a suitable time.

All the best to our Year 5-6 Rugby Team who have the final next Friday, where their unbeaten season goes on the line.

Parent Interviews: Year 1-8

When: Thursday 6 August from 2.15pm (See the newsletter for Booking Details).

Chicken Pox is out in the community

Chicken Pox is highly contagious, please ensure you keep your sick child at home. All blisters should have dried up and crusted over in order for your child to return to school. We would appreciate you keeping your sick child at home, as we do not want to spread chicken pox to other students and staff.  Please remember to ring the school or send an absentee message via the School App if your child is absent.Should you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your medical professional.
