Kia ora whānau
The Year 7-8 ākonga will be sharing products they have made or what they have been learning to do as part of the new Huranga Whānui Programme. We have set aside two time slots on Wednesday 1 July for whānau to pop into school and view the products with their tamariki.
- Session 1: 3.00 – 3.30pm
- Session 2: 5.00 – 5.30pm

What is happening next week
- Monday 15 June: Story Teller (Juniors); Year 7-8 Winter Sports Trials; Board Hui at 5pm in the Conference Room.
- Tuesday 16 June: Huranga Whānui – Year 7-8 (Tech Programme); Sport Taranaki.
- Wednesday 17 June: Huranga Whānui – Year 7-8 (Tech Programme); Class and Sibling Photos.
- Thursday 18 June: Kapa Haka; Sports and Cultural Photos; Out of Zone Enrolments close today for Term 3 – See the school website or contact the Office for further information.
- Friday 19 June: Assembly at 9.15am – all whānau are welcome to attend.

Year Rippa Finals
- Who: Year 5-6 Competitive Mixed Team; Year 7-8 Competitive Mixed Team + the Year 7-8 Competitive Boys Team.
- When: Year 5-6 – Tuesday 23 June
- When: Year 7-8 – Wednesday 24 June
- Further information will be shared closer to both events.
SCHOOL PHOTOS
- Please remember that classroom, individual and sibling photos will be taken on Wednesday 17 June 2026. The sibling form MUST be returned before this date in order for the photo to be taken, this is the only photo NOT automatically taken.
- Thursday 18 June 2026, will be the day for sports photos. Ensure you send your tamariki with their sports uniform (Basketball and Netball). Note that we will not be calling home for forgotten uniforms.
Please drive slowly along Regan Street, during before and after school times
There is a 30km speed limit during school drop off times. Lately, a number of cars have been speeding during this time. Please can everyone drive slowly during these times to keep our tamariki safe. Whānau can you remind friends and family who also drive along Regan Street during these times.
Paper Road Access
The road between the Junior Block and the swimming pool is jointly owned by the school and the Stratford District Council. This road is reserved for council staff, school staff, and whānau who hold a valid car park pass.
The Principal issues passes to whānau who require assistance and/or have tamariki with complex needs. All other vehicles are not permitted to use or park on this road.
