Tēnā koutou katoa

Wow, what a day yesterday. The SPS Tryathlon was definitely a hit with all our tamariki. Whānau feedback was also outstanding. A huge thank you to Nadine Moore (SPS Sports Coordinator) and her team of helpers for making this day such a special on the SPS Calendar. We are lucky to have so many dedicated parents who go the extra mile for our kids, especially the SPS Home and School Parent Group. A big thank you to our staff and Year 7-8 ākonga who supported our little people during this event.

Remember, there is no school tomorrow  (Friday 10 March) as it Teachers Only Day for schools across the Stratford area.

Potential Teacher Strike Action: Thursday 16 March
Primary School Teachers may potentially strike on Thursday 16 March. If this happens we will only have a skeleton staff onsite. Please be prepared for potential disruption on this day and make alternate care arrangements for your tamariki. As soon as we know more, whānau will be informed. Schools should hopefully be informed tomorrow, so please look out for a message on the School App.

Key Reminders for Tamariki and Whānau:
Tamariki cannot be on school grounds before 8.15am: We have had a couple of tamariki dropped off at school by whānau or who have walked to school before 8am! It is not safe for tamariki to be at school before 8.15am. Contact the Office for further information/advice.

Week 7:
# Monday 13 March: No School – Taranaki Anniversary
# Thursday 16 March: Potential Strike Action by teachers for the day!
# Friday 17 March: Assembly 9.15am (all whānau are welcome to attend); ASB First Aid Training
