Tomorrow we are celebrating Daffodil Day. Tamariki are encouraged to dress up in yellow and bring along a gold coin donation. Thank you to our Ākonga Council who have been selling Daffodil Day items to raise money for this great cause.
A friendly reminder that we have no assembly tomorrow due to the hall being used for the Epro8 Inter School Finals. Assembly will resume next Friday 6 September, where Manaakitanga Awards for weeks 6 and 7 will be presented.
Thank you for all the great support during Wednesday’s Cross Country. It was fantastic to see our ākonga try their best and earn points for their House. The Central Cross Country will be held on Wednesday 11 September for 8+ Year Olds. Runners will be selected based on times and their placings in the School Cross Country. From there, runners will also have the opportunity to compete at the Taranaki Cross Country on Wednesday 25 September. Further details for both events will be shared via the School App.
Whakapiri Morning/Book this day: Thursday 12 September Time: 8.45am; Grab a coffee outside the hall and then find a seat. Start time: Just after 9am.
# Whakapiri Morning to celebrate the opening of the Book Fair. All whānau, including grandparents and other relatives are invited to the opening at 9am. Free coffee will be available before 9am, these are kindly being supplied by Ink Pot Cafe. Our Kapa Haka Roopu will open the Book Fair, followed by a mihi from Mr Elder and slideshow. Whānau will then be able to visit classes and the Book Fair with their tamariki.

# Monday 2 September: Board Meeting at 5.30pm in the Conference Room.
# Thursday 5 September: Kapa Haka.
# Friday 6 September: Assembly at 9.15am (All whānau are welcome to attend).
