We had an excellent turnout at last week’s interviews. A reminder that all High School Interviews are at Stratford Primary School. It is not too late to book a time. Contact the office for further information or see previous messages that have been sent on the School App, Newsletter and Website.
Our Year 7-8 Girls have an exciting Personal Safety Course next week. Girls will be broken into groups over the week, where they receive two-three sessions, where they will learn about online, physical and emotional safety as well as making good decisions.
All the best to our Year 5-6 Rugby (Playing Fitzroy School) and Netball Teams (Playing Puketapu School) who have home Semi-Finals next Friday. Winners will go on and compete in the North Taranaki Schools Finals. Whānau are encouraged to come along and support both teams.
Parent Interviews: Yr 1-8 + Yr 8 High School Interviews.
We encourage all whānau to book an interview with their child’s classroom teacher. Bookings are made online. If you are having problems making a booking, please contact the Office Team.
Year 8 parents will have two interviews; one with the classroom teacher and one with Stratford High School. Both interviews will be at Stratford Primary School.
We encourage all tamariki to attend the interviews with their whānau. This will support a positive home – school learning plan. Year 8 ākonga must attend their interview with Stratford High School.
Key Interview Dates:
# Tuesday 6 August: Parent Interviews. School finishes at 1pm.
Week 3: Monday 5 August to Friday 9 August
# Monday 5 August: Personal Safety Course for Year 7-8 Girls.
# Tuesday 6 August: Personal Safety Course for Year 7-8 Girls; 7 Aside Tournament (Yr 7-8); Whānau Interviews – School finishes at 1pm.
# Wednesday 7 August: Personal Safety Course for Year 7-8 Girls.
# Thursday 8 August: Kapa Haka; Personal Safety Course for Year 7-8 Girls.
# Friday 9 August: Assembly at 9.15am (All whānau are welcome to attend); Yr 5-6 Rugby and Netball Semi-Finals.
