Tēnā koutou katoa (Greetings to everyone in the community),

Welcome to the start of Term 4 at Stratford Primary School. I hope everyone is well, our tamariki are refreshed and ready to learn. Term 4 is always a busy term. Please keep up to date with school events by regularly checking the School App and/or Website. 

Here are the key reminders to start Term 4:
The Summer Term Starts on Monday:
# School starts at the normal time of 8.55am. Tamariki are expected to be in their classrooms by 8.54am.
# Lunchtime is from 1pm to 1.40pm. Tamariki will need to bring a named hat to school everyday. They will also need a drink bottle for the warmer weather to ensure their body remains hydrated and ready to learn. 
# School finishes at 2.55pm. 

Swimming will begin on Monday 14 November. A notice will be shared this term for organisation around this programme. 

If you have a worry or concern, contact your child’s teacher as soon as possible. A positive Home-School partnership ensures tamariki have success at school.

The Dance Project: This is currently being made into a movie. Once completed we will then let whanāu know when the viewing will occur.

Future Term Dates:
# Monday 17 October: Term 4 starts at 8.45am; Summer Term so school finishes at 2.55pm.
# Thursday 20 October: Kapa Haka; Cricket Festival at SPS.
# Friday 21 October: School Assembly at 9.15am; Yr 7-8 Technology; Cricket Festival at SPS.
# Monday 24 October: No School – Labour Day.
# Friday 28 October: School Quiz Night
