Welcome back to the start of Term 3. Here are a couple of important reminders before we start the term on Monday 22 July. 

Parent Interviews: Yr 1-8 + Yr 8 High School Interviews.
We encourage all whānau to book an interview with their child’s classroom teacher. Bookings are made online. If you are having problems making a booking, please contact the Office Team.

Year 8 parents will have two interviews; one with the classroom teacher and one with Stratford High School. See the attached flyers for details.

We encourage all tamariki to attend the interviews with their whānau. This will support a positive home – school learning plan. Year 8 ākonga must attend their interview with Stratford High School. 

Key dates are:
# Tuesday 30 July: Parent Interviews. School finishes at 1pm.
# Tuesday 6 August: Parent Interviews. School finishes at 1pm.

Team Newletters will be sent home next week via the School App. Please read and make notes about what is on this term. Parents are encouraged to keep a close connection with teachers and school events over the term. 

Students arriving before 8.15am: A friendly reminder that students are not allowed on site until after 8.15am due to health and safety reasons. 

Winter Term Hours: School starts at the normal time of 8.45am; School finishes at the earlier time of 2.35pm. We offer supervision from 2.35pm until just after 3pm in Room 2 with Mr Zeylemaker for whānau who have work commitments. This is called the Late Bus Class. Contact the office to book a place for your tamariki. 

New whānau (families): We welcome all new families to our Pōwhiri on Monday at 10.00am. This will involve a welcome in the hall followed by a hot drink and biscuits. 

Week 1, Term 3:  Monday 22 July to Friday 26 July 2024
# Monday 22 July: School starts at 8.45am; Pōwhiri for all tamariki, whānau and staff will be in the hall at 10am; School finishes at 2.35pm.
# Tuesday 23 July: Year 5-6 Sports Exchange against West End School (Away).
# Wednesday 24 July: Canterbury Testing (English).
# Friday 26 July: Assembly at 9.15am (All whānau are welcome to attend).
