Wiki Tuarima (Week 5), Term 3 2023: Next week’s message from Jason Elder
Friday 11 August 2023
Tēnā Koutou Katoa
Next Wednesday we will be holding the School Cross Country. This is a great opportunity for all tamariki to challenge themselves, whilst supporting their House by earning points for competing in the run. We encourage all our tamariki to dress up in their house colours and to get into the spirit of the event.
Cross Country Details:
– Weather: If the weather looks doubtful, please look out for messages on our school Facebook page and the School App.
– Races start after 11.00am: Please come early to avoid missing your tamarikis race.
– Course details: Check out the school website for the course map. Click here to view.

Updates:
– Dual Messages for Separated Whānau:
We are now able to send out unexplained absentee messages to both caregivers. As we are unware of shared custody arrangements, this would be a great way to ensure the office is well informed should your tamariki be absent. Please contact the office to have this function set up.
Week 5 (14 – 18 August):
- Conservation Week: How are we all taking action for nature at home, in the community and in our kura (school). What little things can we all do?
- Wednesday 16 August: School Cross Country
- Thursday 17 August: Kapa Haka
- Friday 18 August: Assembly at 9.15am (All whānau are welcome); Rep Rugby (Ross Brown Tournament).
