Thank you to everyone who supported last week’s Whānau Day and to the 124 Community Members who made the day really special. Our next big community event is the Yr 1-6 Weetbix TRYathlon. This will be held on Wednesday 8 March. See below for important information.
Our Year 7-8 ākonga had a wonderful time at their camp in Forest Lakes and their Wellington adventure. This week, our Year 5-6 ākonga head to Konini Lodge on Mount Taranaki.
Next Wednesday we will be having a Black and White Day to support the schools in the Hawkes Bay Region. Tamariki are asked to dress up in black and white and bring along a gold coin donation.
Remember, we have a Paid Union Meeting on Monday 27 February; School will finish at 12pm: We ask that whānau collect their tamariki at 12pm on this day. School will still be open for instruction. However, we will only have a few teachers onsite as most of them will attend the Paid Union Meeting. If you cannot collect your son/daughter at this time please contact your classroom teacher so arrangements can be made to have them supervised until 2.55pm.
We currently have two surveys that have been shared with whānau. Please complete it as soon as possible.
