Kia ora whānau

Today is the start of Māori Language Week. All the students will be singing the school song at 12pm as New Zealand tries to have one million voices speak or sing Te Reo Māori at the same time. Senior Kapa Haka students attended an event at the Stratford Clock Tower today to celebrate Māori Language Week.

Important messages this week are:

  • Here is this week’s newsletter:
  • Enrolment for Term 4 (Out of Zone): We have limited spaces for Term 4, parents can contact the office for further details. Pre-enrolments close on Monday 28 September 2020.
  • Enrolment for 2021: Parents please make sure you have enrolled your child/children if they are under 5. This helps the school leadership team to plan classes for 2021 and beyond. Contact the school office to enrol your child/children.

A couple of important reminders:

  • Alert Level 2: This is what has gone out on the app the last few weeks – Alert Level 2: Every parent should be using the NZ Covid-19 tracing app. Parents are to use both the app and sign in at the office if coming onsite during school hours.  Prior to school and at the end of the school day, you need only use the NZ Covid tracing app. Posters have been placed around the school with the School’s QR Code.
  • Important School Dates can be found on the school website (here).

Kind regards
