Term 3-4 Holiday Message from Jason Elder.
Friday 30 September 2022
Tēnā koutou katoa (Greetings to everyone in the community),
I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday period. Please support our tamariki by letting them play and read lots, while also ensuring good bedtime routines. With the changing weather, try and keep tamariki off devices as much as possible. Limit screen time each day.
Here are reminders for Term 4:
- Summer Term starts on the first day next term. This means school finishes at 2.55pm.
- Tamariki will need to bring a named hat to school everyday. They will also need a drink bottle for the warmer weather to ensure their body remains hydrated to learn.
- Term 4 is a busy term so keep up to date via the School App and Website.
- Swimming will begin on Monday 14 November. A notice will be shared next term for organisation around this programme.
- If you have a worry or concern, contact your teacher as soon as possible. A positive Home-School partnership ensures tamariki have success at school.
- The Dance Project: This is currently being made into a movie. Once completed we will then let whanāu know when the viewing will occur.
