Dear Parents and Whānau 

The Ministry of Education has offered Stratford Primary School the opportunity to be involved in the ‘Free School Lunches’ programme for 2021. Before committing to this service, parents are being consulted through this survey and on the Goal Setting day on Monday 1 February. Once every family/whānau has been consulted, next steps will be shared after Waitangi Weekend. 

Free School Lunches is for all students at Stratford Primary School. This includes:

  • One free lunch each school day
  • Lunches will be delivered to school each day to every classroom
  • Weekly lunches will include two cold lunches and three hot lunches 
  • All lunches are healthy and made to individual students dietary requirements
  • Lunches are safely packaged
  • All waste is recycled, either as food scraps or paper/cardboard recyclable. 
  • Stratford High School are involved in this programme.
